Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Holzman.

Hi Jessica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Over the past several holiday seasons, my sister in-law and I often talked about gifting and baby products as our family has grown in the recent years. Welcoming my two nephews into our family, I couldn’t help but tap my own background in production and start dreaming up a thoughtful, organic baby apparel line. We wanted the entire process of our company to be transparent to our community. From our decision to manufacture locally in LA, to the organic fabric we chose, down to the details of our eco-friendly packaging, we pledged to make these values integral to our brand and to continue to look for ways to improve our product and process that reflect these core values. Two years later, we are thrilled to have launched our baby apparel line. We look forward to curating this unique brand as we learn and grow along with our community’s needs.

We recently chatted with the Manhattan Beach based sister-in-law duo behind Teddy’s Cotton– a new California made and inspired organic baby apparel brand that embraces the slow fashion mentality and incorporates sustainable practices whenever possible, from production to packaging.

Jessica is a mom of two with a background in the finance industry, and Jess is a Californian with over 10 years of experience in production and children apparel.  The sister-in-laws wanted to design quality garments to be worn, shared and worn again.

There is a collective joy in passing on clothes to family and friends, and Teddy’s Cotton hopes they can help your family start or continue this tradition of wearing and sharing organic baby apparel for years to come.
